VOL. 5, NO. 8: I WILL REMEMBER EDITION
OK, can you feel it? It's getting closer!!!!!! Things will be here and we'll be doing it in less than a week. So, if you are coming, we need to know by Saturday to get the laminates ready for you. We need a definitive head count!!! We won't guarantee you a laminate at the door, as we will have yours marked for the giveaways. So, don't miss out. You need a laminate to qualify for the drawings, so go to the CWE Message Board and respond to Beaners' (Chris Schloman's) post or e-mail me. You can mail your 12.00 admission price to me at the following: Colin Connelly, P.O. Box 1512, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832. We need to know how many to prepare for, So please help us out.

I.) TEASERS FOR THE WEEKEND:
What can you look forward to in the way of things going on?

Well.Saturday has been hyped several times and I will unveil the lineup for the show later in this newsletter, but what are some things you can expect on Friday night throughout the festivities on the side? You know what I mean.Those little surprises, extra touches, etc. which makes the weekend even more fun. So, here are some teasers/appetizers for you:

1) Free posters and other giveaways
2) Unreleased music by QR, Soulbender and Slave to the System
3) Surprise guest stars from other empires as well as our own
4) Rychean Trivia Contest
5) Chris DeGarmo's pants from the Empire tour
6) Live music, including QR selections
7) Solving the mystery of the missing saxophone form Geoff's solo tour
8) Items you can purchase for fall tour wear, which could come in handy
for October in Seattle! ;)
9) An RFO flashback to when Geoff played guitar on tour
10) More mayhem and surprises!

II.) SATURDAY / THE FOOD DRIVE :
Don't forget we have the Food Drive and the show of course. Part of the price of your ticket will be 2 canned goods as well. This will also be the cost of admission for those under 12. Of course they do no have to pay the price of the ticket. We will collect these at the restaurant , Bogart's , rather at the venue. DO NOT BRING YOUR FOOD TO THE VENUE! We will be providing a map to both locations for you.

There will also be a performance at Bogart's by some local Richmond musicians during the Food Drive . The cost for the same will be $ 5.00 with the proceeds going towards the Food Drive . So, you can go in , use your gift certificate, have lunch and music. What a great way to warm up for the SHOW !

III.) THE SHOW:
The line-up for the show will be as follows:
4:00 Odin's court
6:00 Images of Eden
8:00 Brave
10:00 Possibly a second set from one of the groups

Marctavius will be having t-shirts, CD's, etc. for sale by his artists. So, you will not only experience these 3 excellent bands, you can have something to take with you as a memento of the weekend.

I haven't heard BRAVE's music, but as I have heard Odin's Court's and Images of Eden's music.They Rock!!! I know you will all really enjoy this Nu Paradigm Musical Showcase. Catch them before they head over to Europe to perform! You will be able to say you saw them when.. Thanks to Marctavius for making this possible. Can't wait for the show, Bro!

The venue is the Elks Lodge #45 in Glen Allen, Virginia. This place holds up to 150 people, so this will be a cool experience with these groups in an intimate setting. There will be a cash bar and food will be provided as part of your concert ticket (heavy finger foods) WHAT A BARGAIN!!!!!!

The night will really be a fun time. Of course, the hall will be decked out in..what else QR motif!!!! What were you expecting? BRITNEY SPEARS? Hahahahahaha!
